Terms of Service

The simple rules for using Scan Decinc.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of scandecinc.com (the "Website") and the free-to-play games on it. The Website is run by Scan Decinc ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Who can use Scan Decinc

  • You must be 18 years old or over.
  • You must be living in the United Kingdom.
  • You must not be using the Website if gambling-style games could be harmful to you. See our Responsible Play page for help and tools.

We may ask you to confirm your age and location, and we may close accounts that do not meet these rules.

3. Free to play, always

Scan Decinc is a free social games website. There is no real-money gambling, nothing to buy and no prizes of money or real-world value. Coins, levels and experience points (XP) are virtual items for fun only. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, withdrawn or exchanged for money, goods or services. Doing well in a free game does not mean you would do well at real-money gambling.

4. Your account

  • Give us accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One account per person. Do not share, sell or give away your account.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away through our contact form.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it removes your coins, level and details from our servers.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Website you must not:

  • break the law or use the Website for anything unlawful;
  • cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, or interfere with how the games work;
  • try to get into other people's accounts or our systems, or probe, scan or test their security;
  • copy, scrape, resell or re-publish our games, artwork or content without our permission;
  • send abusive, harmful or misleading messages to us or other people.

6. Our games and content

The games on the Website are our own. The games, artwork, names, logos, text and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may play the games for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Our games are shown inside a frame on our pages and are loaded from our own game servers, which may set their own cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Website running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or remove games, features, coins or levels at any time, for example to fix a problem or improve the Website. Because coins and levels are free and virtual, we do not owe you compensation if they change or are reset.

8. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account if you break these Terms, if we must by law, or if we reasonably believe the account is being used in a harmful or unfair way. If you ask us to restrict or close your account for your own wellbeing, we will do so promptly.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited, including our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for lost data on free virtual items, or for problems caused by your device, browser or internet connection. The Website and games are provided "as is" because they are free.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If we make an important change we will tell you on the Website. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
